Blueshields glasses are specially designed eyewear with lenses that filter part of the blue light emitted by digital screens such as smartphones, laptops, and tablets.

BlueShields glasses may improve comfort during screen use, but the quantity depents per person. Eye fatigue is usually caused by prolonged focus, reduced blinking, and poor ergonomics.

BlueShields block a portion of blue light about 25%. Clear lenses block less than yellow or orange-tinted lenses. BlueShields Extreme has an 80% BL filter.

Clear lenses have minimal impact. Stronger filters (yellow/orange) can slightly alter color perception, especially in design or color-critical work.
